BRI believes that we can strengthen the African American community by strengthening Black-owned businesses, connecting and networking with existing organizations, and volunteering. As a 501C 3 non-profit, your donations are tax-deductible (EIN #20-3749850 and will be used for operational expenses and future projects.)

Volunteering can include:
- Filming the “I’m In The Book” video business spotlight
- Delivering printed directories
- Proofreading
- Research and development
- Volunteering at BRI events

Annual renewal fees after the first year:
• $100 for brick and mortar businesses
• $50 for home based businesses
• $0 for nonprofits

Go Fund Me
The Blackquest Project is dedicated to building a national platform that elevates the visibliity, contributions, and achievements of African Americans across the country. This project will fund the development of an interactive African American tourism website – a place where Black stories are centered, preserved, and shared.
